Mother Earth and Father Sky created the Universe. Some of their children, such as Mithros, the sun god, provided sun for all the lands. Genial, the dream god, held prophecies and delievered dreams to the animals of the land. Too keep the lands cool and refreshing, the Horse Lords/Four Winds were born. Bian north wind, Shai south wind, Vau west wind, and Chavi east wind. Mother and Father restrained them to a land called Four Winds. Whinnies flew through the air, willing Mother Earth and Father Sky to release them. But Mother and Father, knowing their offspring, bian and shai would plead forever they had placed a silence spell on the lands. Trapped inside chavi and vau went their seperate ways, each departing to their side of the lands.
As time wore on, they became lonely with only each other for company and found something new. They could open a portal between the mortal world and Four Winds. Try as they might they could not escape through the portals, but equines began to come in. Delighted at this new found idea they let them come. Equines of all shapes, sizes, and minds entered. Some were a little mischiecious, like bian ans shai, others were a little more evil. Some were kind and thoughtful, like chavi and vau. All kinds entered, each residing in the part of Four Winds that had a Wind to match their personality. They soon came to be called, North, South, East, and West according to their personalities.
