Snaffle Bit Farm

You're driving down a nice road in Wellington, Florida just off of West Palm Beach. Your co-pilot leans closer to the window,"There it is." she says, pointing to large black iron gates ahead. You snap your blinker on and turn, only going a few feet before you are forced to a halt because of a large gate. You get out and try to see past the gates but you get distracted by a large sign reading,'Snaffle Bit Farm' and underneath,'The Top Hunter/Jumper Barn in Wellington'. You look around the entry area and see a small call box with a button just within a few feet. You walk over and touch it. Soon the gates open and you get back in and drive forward. You're eager to just hop and start riding all the gorgeous horses that can be seen grazing happily in the pastures. You're brought to another halt to let passing equestrians and their mounts go by. Once you park you head over to the outdoor ring where many riders and trainers can be seen. You enter and spot the riders and instructor you had stopped for a few minutes ago. You walk to where the trainer is standing and she turns and greets you happily,"Hello I'm Lindsey. Can I help you?" she asked. You tell her your intrested in boarding and taking lessons,"I can't help you with that since I have a class right now but if you go into the barn you'll find Jen, she can help you." Lindsey pointed a finger towards the barn. The white stucco barn is magnifcent with a maroon spanish tile roof. You thank her and head off. At first you are engulfed in darkenss but your eyes adjust and are soon able to see the equally amazing facilities inside the barn. Off white concrete stalls are to either side of you. Occasionally a friendly horse will poke his head out and give you a welcoming nicker. You are nearing the end of the barn which opens into an enormous indoor ring. Finally when you think you're in the wrong place you see a door with a sign that reads 'Office'. You tap lightly on the door before a welcoming voice says,"Come in!". A nice neat office with a couch and T.V., a fan spinning above as like the ones in the aisle and a desk with a computer. A brunette woman around 26 typing busily away,"Hold on one minute I just have to finish these show entries." she said, never taking her eyes of the computer screen. You sit down on one of the couches and are suprised by a very fluffy calico cat laying comfortably on the comfy couch. "That's Princess." the woman says getting up from her chair. She walked over and extended her hand,"I'm Jennifer Riley. Everyone calls me Jen. I own and manage the farm along with my good friend Lindsey. My husband is head trainer. He should be around here somewhere..." she turned to the open office door to see nothing but an empty aisle,"Anyway, how may I help you?" she asked. You explain that your current barn is closing and you need a place to board and take lessons. She nods with each statement you make. "Well if you can just fill out some forms we'll get you all set up with a stall and weekly lessons." she said. "I think I'll tell my friend about this place but the thing is she doesn't have a horse. Is that a prob-" you are cut short by her response,"Of course it's not a problem. We have plenty horse schooling horses and ponies for all levels and ages." she said and sat back down at her desk. While you continued filling out forms she bent down and opened a drawer, coming back up with some papers and a pamphlet. "Here you go." you say and put the forms down on her desk,"Great." she said and gave them a quick look over then bent down and put them into another drawer. She came back up within only a few seconds and put her hand on the papers she had just gotten out and slid them towards you,"Here are the papers for your friend. And underneath all together with a paperclip are some show forms for our next show if you'd care to join us.". You thank her for all her help and begin on your way out. Jen got up and walked you to the door,"Have a great time at Snaffle Bit Farm."
