Around 7000 years ago, the apocalypse happened. Nobody had the faintest idea that it was coming, but it did. One sunny day in march, thousands and thousands of meteors rained down on earth. Some tried to hide,
to escape death, but unfortunately nobody survived.

Or so it was thought.

Now, in the year 9007, the earth is recovering. The human race will never re-appear; they are far too complex to be made from any of the remains on the shattered shell which used to be such a buzzing world. Small life forms are evolving into animals much like those on earth - lions with special adaptations, birds which have bonded with different creatures whilst evolving and have became their own independent breed. All of the creatures live in harmony, doing what they need to in order to survive, ruled by the equines. After so many years of being treated as the underdogs, the horses have finally came out on top. Whatever they say goes in this remodelled version of earth. The king of all horses - aptly named Apocalypse - is attempting to improve the world even further, to grow more vegitation and draw back the space that barren land takes up, and generally make it a better place than the humans did. However, he cannot rule this kingdom alone. He wants someone to share it with.
