It came to be many years ago. A land of realms for many and a peace that was uneasily made. There were the five tribes, the Light and the Dark, the Wanderer and the Rebel, and the last which was a forbidden curse. Five tribes coexisting, five tribes for the taking, all coming to the moment where it mattered the most.
Welcome to Avatrai... the real trouble is only just beginning.

And now turmoil reigns in this once-fair land, a drought killing off many equines and leaving the rest maddened with thirst and grief for their fallen comrades. The darks are gaining strength, the fiery understudy Vesanta is proving to be more ruthless than the dark lord Jadero could have hoped. Most of the water sources have dried up, and the darks are chasing all others away from them. Far away, sheltered on their little island, the rebel mares live on oblivious to the chaos on the mainland, except for those who brave the tiring swim to mingle with the others. How long will Jadero leave their island untouched?
Meanwhile, the lights go on dutifully, the light lord Jaimas driven mad by the news that his mate and daughter were chased down by the dark royals and slain. With Jaimas gone, presumed dead, the lights are looking even less likely to be able to withstand an attack from the darks. And that's when they'll have to call upon every ally they have, for the darks have an even greater and more terrible allegiance with the herd of the undead.
Little do they know, there is a herd high in the mountains above Avatrai. For the time being they are separated, unaware of each other's existence. But as we have learned thus far, nothing stays the same for long in this land.
